Islamabad, Pakistan – The Asian Productivity Organization (APO), in partnership with Pakistan's National Productivity Organization (NPO), recently concluded a dynamic four-day International Training Workshop on Strategic Marketing for Digital Transformation at the Islamabad Hotel. The workshop aimed to equip marketing professionals with the skills and knowledge to navigate the complexities of the digital landscape and drive business growth.

Mr. Muhammad Asad Islam Mahni, Additional Secretary Industries & Production Division, inaugurated the workshop, commending the APO's pivotal role in regional development. He stressed the urgency of embracing APO's vision of "Inclusive, innovation-led productivity growth in the Asia-Pacific."

The workshop drew 18 international participants from APO member countries, including Cambodia, Fiji, Mongolia, Nepal, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Turkey along with 10 local participants from Pakistan.

Mr. Yorn Sophearith, Managing Director of BizKhmer Digital Media & BKD Academy and one of three Cambodian participants, remarked on the workshop's energy and impact:

"The workshop was incredibly dynamic and engaging," said Mr. Sophearith. "The opportunity to exchange ideas with participants from such diverse backgrounds was invaluable. We learned so much from each other's experiences and challenges. The expertise of the resource persons from Malaysia and Pakistan was also exceptional. They provided us with cutting-edge insights into the latest digital marketing & marketing strategic trends and tools, which will be instrumental in our efforts to promote SMEs and out clients in Cambodia."



Mr. Sophearith was particularly impressed by the workshop's focus on practical applications and real-world examples. He noted that the sessions on data-driven decision-making and customer-centric approaches were especially relevant to his work at BizKhmer Digital Media & BKD Academy. He plans to leverage these insights to refine the marketing strategies for his current clients and his owned companies in Cambodia. He believes that the knowledge and skills gained from the workshop will enable him to effectively utilize digital tools to reach a wider audience, enhance engagement, and drive meaningful impact.



Mr. Muhammad Alamgir Chaudhry, CEO of NPO, expressed his appreciation for the collaboration with APO and highlighted Pakistan's ongoing journey towards digital transformation. He emphasized the importance of initiatives like the National Productivity Master Plan and the Productivity Measurement System in driving productivity growth across the nation.



Mr. Dong Jin Lee, APO Program Officer based in Japan, underscored the workshop's significance as a platform for knowledge exchange and networking among marketing professionals. He reaffirmed APO's commitment to fostering productivity and competitiveness in member countries.

The workshop covered a wide range of topics, including digital marketing strategies, data-driven decision-making, and customer-centric approaches. Participants expressed enthusiasm for the practical insights gained, which they plan to apply within their organizations.
