In an era of hyper-connectivity, the boundaries of business are no longer defined by geography. Digital success and entrepreneurship in Cambodia increasingly demand an international perspective. This was a key insight reinforced at the Second International Cooperation and Development Conference for Young Entrepreneurs, held this past week in the city of Anji, Zhejiang Province, China.
This forum, organized by the China International Youth Exchange Center and the International Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs Associations, was far more than a typical networking event. Gathering over 260 inspiring young leaders and innovators from around the globe, it served as a vital space for open dialogue, shared vision, and tangible collaboration among those actively shaping the future of entrepreneurship.
A cornerstone of the conference was the official release of the "International Young Entrepreneurs Innovation Cooperation (Anji) Declaration." This declaration calls upon all young entrepreneurs to unite in working towards three core objectives:
- Driving inclusive innovation and reshaping the global economy.
- Strengthening multilateral trade and cooperation.
- Building a more open, sustainable, and connected world.
As the Founder of BizKhmer Media Group (which includes BizKhmer.com, BizKhmer Media, and BKD Academy), this mission resonates deeply with me. It is precisely what we have been dedicated to for years: empowering Cambodian entrepreneurs, upskilling young professionals, and supporting digital transformation across the country.
Being part of this international forum is a powerful reminder that our local actions must be connected to global collaboration. Every conversation held here reinforces one central idea: "Innovation knows no borders."
For entrepreneurs and business owners in Cambodia, this is a clear message. The world is not waiting, and our customers are already being influenced by global trends. Whether in e-commerce, digital marketing, or tech-driven solutions, we must be competitive not just locally, but regionally and globally. Young entrepreneurs have the power to shape a better world together, and it begins with embracing innovation and collaborating without limits.
