Dr. Yorn Sophearith is the founder and Managing Director of BizKhmer Digital Media. For more than a decade he has helped Cambodian businesses, institutions and young professionals adapt to a digital economy, as an entrepreneur, strategist, trainer, mentor and researcher.
For clients, this means the agency is led by someone who practises digital marketing in Cambodia, teaches it and studies it.

He launched BizKhmer as a business news platform in 2015 and built BizKhmer Digital Media into a full-service agency from 2018. He went on to found BKD Academy, where he is Managing Director and Head Trainer, and the group's software venture. He also sits on the boards of Agri-Nic PLC and Morodok Basedth Agritourism.
Before BizKhmer he was corporate communications manager at Phnom Penh City Center, one of Cambodia's biggest property developers, and earlier held a key role at Sabay, a leading publisher. He has since led campaigns and brand strategy for international brands and Cambodian companies in real estate, premium products and local consumer goods.
He has taught at Cambodian universities since 2016, including the University of Cambodia and the CEO Institute, and has served as Head of the Economics and Business Department at Samdech Preah Mahasangharaja Bour Kry University. He trains entrepreneurs and professionals in digital marketing, branding, digital business and AI through the CJCC Accelerator Program, the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia and the Chamber of Commerce of Cambodia. From 2021 to 2023 he mentored and trained Kubota's digital marketing team in Cambodia.
At BNI Cambodia he has served as president of the Brilliant chapter, as Support Ambassador, and as MSP and Advanced MSP Trainer. He also mentors founders in digital marketing through the CJCC Accelerator Program.
He is an active researcher whose articles have been published in international journals. He is the author of four books on marketing and business in the AI era, three in Khmer and one in English. He holds master's degrees in Social and Cultural Entrepreneurship from Université Lumière Lyon 2 and in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management from the University of Lille 1, and has pursued doctoral research in Enterprise Development at the Swiss School of Business Research.
Since 2013 he has completed professional programmes in nine countries across Asia, among them Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Taiwan, along with HubSpot training in digital marketing, e-commerce and data-driven marketing.
